A montage of brief sound samples are presented from basic Western band and orchestral instruments, including violin, recorder, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, and trombone! Of particular interest, all 6 types of common recorders are demonstrated: garklein, sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor, and bass.

All instruments are demonstrated by the author of The Big Print Music Method, M. Schottenbauer, Ph.D. The musical instruments consist of entry-level student models, including a Florea violin, an Aulos garklein recorder, a Harmony recorder set, and Etude woodwind and brass instruments (flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone).
